    Gad, I would hope that the step rate was faster than 6.5 MILLIseconds
Let's see, across a disk with 1K of tracks, it would take 6.5 SECONDS
to seek...Not too good...

    Maybe the OS or hardware ignores the parameter?  Maybe someones
got this wrong?
