Operations needed are: - open a display window of dimension X by Y; - clear that display area; - draw line segment between two points; Very simple driver indeed, but I do not seem to be able to open the window using XCreateSimpleWindow & XMapWindow. Since I do not have the window, I could not see the effects of XClearArea & XDrawLine. Does someone have a sample program that will demo the above operations? or some ftp sites have such simple code? C codes will be great, but I will others as well - just to learn. Thanks in advance. -- Jin Li >> Gin & Tonic mix well University of Toronto Computing Services << No bugs, no bucks jinli@gpu.utcs.utoronto.ca uunet!utgpu!jinli>> More greed, more green
