There wasn't any easy way to automate the move.

By installing /software/mfcf-basics/bin/searchpath and not yet
removing the other version or changing the /bin/searchpath link
it should still leave everyone using the same version they
already had.

After the file is distributed (it takes hours to distribute from watmath),
the symlink could be replaced and the old /software/mfcf version removed.
