(I thought these directories were supposed to have been shoved into the
mfcf "package" in order to avoid problems like this before they arise???)

This means that anything that has been working fine for the last two years
using a servers or bin command from the mfcf directories now no
longer works.  e.g. /usr/servers/texfontmailserver is now no longer
able to find the texfontinstaller command. (bin works on math, but nowhere
else, because it is a symlink to software)
