Why is it "gcc-as" if the man page is for "gas"? Why is it under /usr/man/manp instead of under /software/gnu/man? Why does it refer to "/usr/software", instead of to "/software". Why is the program under "lib" and not under "bin"? Isn't "lib" for "*.a" files? And why doesn't /software/gnu/lib even exist?
