I remember somebody asking about a book on NIAM. I think it was in this
newsgroup, but the message has already expired here. Anyway, here is a
book:

Conceptual Schema and relational database design, A fact oriented approach.

I have not seen the book, only the publisher's announcement, so I cannot
tell how good it is.
