Save my nerves!

I'm working intensvely with the form utilty of informix-sql. This means that
I make several compilations a day. Sometimes (about twice a day) the 
compilation aborts with the message "Memory fault - core dumped". And of
course I'm back in the shell and have lost my last modifications.

Has anybody an idea how to avoid that problem.
