I have a minimal graphics library for Fortran, C, and Ansi Basic (True Basic) available for minimal cost for educational use. It is described in Rogers, D. F. and Rogers, S. D., A Raster Display Graphics Package for Education, IEEE CG & A Vol. 6, No. 4 pp51-58, 1986. It is also described in Appendix A of Rogers, D.F. and Adams, J.A., Mathematical Elements for Computer Graphics, 2nd Edition, McGraw-Hill, 1990 ISBN 0-07-053530-2. It is available for the IBM PC (MSDOS) for the EGA card as well as the CGA card and we are working on the VGA card implementation. I use it in teaching graphics classes. David F.
