Yep, Compaq has their own style of connection, with alot of the disk drive
smarts on the hard disk board.

There are third party vendors out there now that sell hard drives that fit
into Compaq machines.  I have a CMS supplier's 100MB drive in my 386/20e.
Check out your local computer dealer.
