Did someone hear about the "SLOOP" parallel language ?
It is suppose to be an Object-Oriented parallel language with explicit
parallel programming, for MIMD architectures.
It was developed in the AT&T Bell Laboratories. (started 1-2 years ago)
and was mentioned in the OOPSLA 87 conference.

Does someone have any papers on it (e.g. manuals).
