Karl, if that's a Pyramid, then you are running 4.3BSD, which means you can cleanly disable auditing by rm'ing the /usr/spool/uucp/AUDIT directory. uucico actually checks to see if the directory exists, and if not it just ignores the debugging request. Auditing on other UUCP's is erratic. On most versions prior to 4.3BSD and HDB, it doesn't really work at all.
