I started building a "flashcard" program, not a difficult task, but the biggest pain is: the database! I'm wondering if anyone has a German-English electronic database with or without an accompanying quiz program. Any of Unix, MS-Dos, or Mac will do, but preferably Unix. Please respond with e-mail. If I don't get one, I'll post what I come up with, but it may take a while: my method has been to raid my old textbooks, with indiscriminate pages of Langenscheidt thrown in. doug scofield dougs@ssd.harris.com harris computer systems {uunet,mit-eddie,novavax}!hcx1!dougs ps: espan~ol or latin would help, too... :-) pps: I'll pass on anything I find out to those interested.
