     I can get a Conner 40meg hard drive for free.  Unfortunately, it is dead.
It is from a stock Compaq 286 Deskpro (Type 17).  If my info is correct, it
is a SCSI drive.  If this is true, I believe I can get it repaired (~$150).  Is
there any way to connect it to my Amiga 2000? Which controller card to use?
[can anyone verify that the drive is indeed SCSI?] (Etc.) If this is possible,
I'll save the price of a hard drive.
    
     Any help I can get will be greatly appreciated. Thanx.
