Does anyone out on the Net have any experience with getting a 
Syquest SQ550 44MB removable media drive to work with a Microbotics
Hardframe-2000 controller?
 
SO far, the drive will low-level format OK, can prep each cartridge allright,
BUT.....
 
Upon trying to AmigaDOS format the drive, the drive will format halfway
then will abort the format for no discernible reason....i.e. it just stops
cold.  No error message, no nothing.  
 
FORMAT with the Quick option just aborts immediately.
 
Am using Microbotics FormatHF version 1.2 and RDPrep version 1.2.
 
Any hints, advice would be appreciated!
