I got the "Car" demo which supposedly won BKDC0 (I think.... don't believe it was 1) and as per usual, put it on a disk all by itself and tried to run it from Workbench as prescribed. It didn't work. As a matter of fact, no matter what I did to it including replacing the showanim 4.0 that comes with it with Showanim 5.3 resulted in a "not enough memory for bitmaps" termination. Now, I know it says "you need at least a meg to see the whole thing" but, well, I have a meg, and I tried all this on a friend's 3-meg Amiga as well. There shouldn't be a problem. I haven't tried it on a Super Agnus yet, but then, both BKDC's were long before the Super Agnus was released. I got my copy straight off of the Fish disks; my friend got his copy off of xanth.
