Well, I just installed conman 1.3.2, and I'm no longer having this problem. I honestly can't say for sure whether or not that was the problem, because it's been awhile since I've tried it. At any rate, my pipes are working reliably now. :-) Now if there was a way to expand wildcards and do 'foreach' type stuff with the ARP shell, I'd be happy...
