From the help, I have determined two things: 1) That Binscii should be a sys file, but executioner doesn't save it as such, nor does it save it to the right place in memory. This I have been able to fix. 2) That the copy (executioner format) of Binscii that I do have crashes when I run it, regardless of the SYS and A$2000 modification. So again I'm stuck. What I need someone to do is please resend Binscii again, preferably in executioner format so that I can exec it and try again. For reasons completely alien to me, Compuserve only has Binscii uploaded in the *Binscii* format!!! A lot of good that does me. And please check the executioner file out before sending it. The last one I got from grant Delaney back in June never seemed to work out right (crashes, etc.) Thanks again, and its good to know that I have many helpful friends on the net. --Rick Ewing Apple Atlanta
