For the Disk ][? 3.5"? SCSI? I guess what I'm asking is how long it takes to load in one block with each of the various devices. I'm interested in doing some background interrupt- driven processing. Also, I was wondering if there was a limit to the number of blocks of memory that can be allocated through the memory manager? Could I, for instance, allocate 10000 100 byte blocks? (assuming I had 10000*100=1meg memory) One final question- does anyone have any information on a new transfer protocol called RModem? A friend says it allows two-way simultaneous file transfer via. full-duplex connection. If this is true, this sounds great (although of limited use).
