Well, there is a discompilation (re-assembly to C source) of the (almost) complete GEMDOS (including reassembly of Bios, XBios and AHDI) in a book called "Das TOS Listing". This one is published by the Heise-Verlag, not Data Becker. Did Atari block publication of this in USA? The book is german.
