First you intercept the normal BIOS/GEMDOS/XBIOS vetctor, then you changes the returnadress on the stack and do what you want, and jump to the call, when return you can do somthing else (in user-mode) and then you can jump to the normal program than called the GEMDOS. Have a small program that fixes redirection of I/O. (> file.ext) for all programs....
