However, I'm having a problem right off the bat with the VT-102 emulator... In vi, the arrow keys are interpreted incorrectly as three-byte strings such as (in the case of the up arrow) ESC [ A. Rather than move the cursor up a line, it has the effect of attempting to get out of input mode! Huh? I can see what's happening, but I can't see why... especially since the same arrow key is properly interpreted by tcsh! Incidentally I also use MSKERMIT version 2.29c, and this works properly. What's going on? Is it a bug in this version of Telix, or do I have to set something arcane in the terminal configuration? I've already tried communicating with 8 data bits, no parity, just in case it was a problem with VT-100 8-bit controls... but that doesn't seem to make any difference! Are there any satisfied Telix users who can lend a hand? I'd sure appreciate hearing from you, either by email or post! Thanks a lot! ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Steven Winikoff smw@maxwell.concordia.ca Software Analyst Concordia University Computer Centre voice: (514) 848-7619 Montreal, Quebec, Canada (10:00-18:00 EST)
