Since I intend to use it with UNIX, it must appear to the system as a vanilla second drive, so Sysgen and Pacific Rim are out. I have been advised to extend the second drive ribbon cable outside the computer (386 compaq) and plug it into an external self powered housing, but I'm looking for a solution that will maintain FCC certification (as in: shielded cable from computer to external housing). Any assistance in finding such a beast would be appreciated. Please respond via E-mail to lower net bandwidth. Thanks.
