In fact it's a great modem considering it is one of the least expensive modems available on the market. I do know several other people who have the same modem (both internal and external) and have nothing but praise. I think with a 5 year warranty you can't go wrong. The modems that a couple people have mentioned must have been earlier versions, as was mentioned with the ROM version. But I have yet to make any complaints regarding this modem, and do believe there is as small as a 1% return rate.
