Hi.

I am having a problem with WordStar 5.0s printing. I know that
WordStar prints directly to the printer instead of using
something like MS-DOS's PRINT or copy filename.ext prn:.
It seems my printer card is not allowing direct prints. The only
way I could get WS to print was to Enable Background printing.

How can I fix this problem as I noticed that other programs do not have the
option to Enable Background printer (or whatever) and print filename.ext
works excellent here? Should I change IRQ switches on the printer card??
