Message-ID: <530@greek.UUCP> Date: 11 Sep 89 17:57:47 GMT Reply-To: mark@csd.mot.COM (Mark Jeghers) Distribution: usa Organization: Motorola CSD, Cupertino CA Lines: 17 I have an AT-clone with 512K (2 rows of 41256-12). Am I correct in assuming that I can do either of the two following things? 1. Get 2 rows of 4164's to put in the remaining 2 rows, to total 640K. 2. Get 2 rows of 41256's to put in the remaining 2 rows, to total 1024K. The upper 384K (above 640K), I understand, can be made into ramdisk. I don't believe I need to change any motherboard jumpers. Correct? What are best prices for 18 4164's or 18 41256's (150 ns is probably okay)? I am open to used as well as new. Thanks much! -- Mark Jeghers | 408-578-9145 [home] | "What a strange place to be, Motorola Computer Systems | 408-864-2629 [work] | sailing on that snotty sea; ...hplabs!hpda!\ \___________________/ passing by the barbaloot tree, ....uunet!apple!motcsd!greek!mark as the farbs came off the wall-l-l-l!"
