Touati) Organization: University of California, Berkeley Lines: 16 Has anybody worked that out? I am using an RT/PC running AIX and NFS as a file server for a VAXstation running Ultrix. In addition to the VERY ENNOYING fact that AIX only supports file names up to 14 characters long, the simple command: "mv vax:file1 rt-pc:file2" refuses to mv files larger than 4MB, while "rcp vax:file1 rt-pc:file2" does work properly up to my (as a user) file size limit. I guess that there is a system wide limit on file sizes specified somewhere, but I do not know where nor how to change it. Any help will be appreciated. --- Herve' Touati touati@arpa.berkeley.edu
