you don't need AND SHOULDN'T USE the yellow plastic drive protector
with SuperFloppy drives (FDHD).

Yes, two companies that i know of sell external FDHD drives.  One is
called Apple Computer, Inc. in Cupertino California.  They have many
thousands of dealers around the country, so you should have no trouble
finding one.  i forget the name of the other company, but i wouldn't
buy their drive because it won't read/write 400-800K Mac disks, only
1.44 Mac/MS-DOS and 720K MS-DOS.
