In each case they have arrived at my computer, in Binhexed format, with several blank lines and/or doubled lines of Ascii characters. I have used a text editor to delete the blank lines, and move the second half of the doubled lines down one line. (I assume that's where they're supposed to go). I also edited out all the '>' marks which FTP puts at the beginning of each line. Then, when I try to convert the file using Binhex4.0, I always get an error message. It seems to be a different error message each time. I'm obviously doing something wrong. Any advice would be appreciated. I haven't had any difficulties converting files from comp.binaries. mac.
