We have an Apple CD-ROM. Some days It just wont show up on the desktop. The Mac freeze and the CD-player tries to read from the disk. When I eject the disk through the eject-button the Mac asks if I want to initialize the disk... There is no problem to mount a music-CD: What is the difference between a 100% music-CD and a CD which (also) contains files? Where's the problem? Is it hardware or software? What's the latest version of the Apple CD-driver? Summary: The CD can play Roxette, Lili & Sussie, ABBA and Beethoven but not read Apple Explorer disk, BMUG PD-ROM or Phil & Dave etc. /Olle
