I'm looking for Macintosh public domain software.  Now wait a minute
I know that is a pretty general statement.  I am the public domain
library chairman for SIGMICRO, a subsidiary of the Association of
Computing Machinery at the Universty of Illinois.  I have had 
absolutely no trouble locating software for IBM compatibles, it is everywhere.
I need Mac utilities, wordprocessors, spreadsheets, just about everything - 
with one qualification.  I don't want Mac pd software that is in the Macintosh
equivalent of the PC-SIG software library.  This software, for both Mac's and 
IBM's, is commercially and locally available.  However, I am looking for just
about anything else.  I would appreciate suggestions by e-mail, responses to 
this note, or even e-mailed submissions of software.  My address is:
