What does it mean when one types (gc-immediately), and after a pause
gets the error "Timeout while waiting for GC lock"? My machine (a TI
Explorer II with 16M and OS 4.1) is running out of swap space
quickly, and then not allowing me to force garbage collection.

Any help would be appreciated.
