Lines: 15 Hi Folks, Just a general question as to whether anyone has tried 386 Xenix (or Unix) on a machine based on the 80386sx ? What performance penalty do you suffer as compared to an equivalently clocked 386 ? Naievete would indicate 50% on 32 bit memory fetches but its probably less due to on chip caching and prefetching. I only ask coz they're nice'n cheap. Thanks Glenn Glenn Geers Dept. Theoretical Physics Uni. of Sydney glenn@extro.ucc.su.oz
