Several months ago, Jon Zeoff proposed a disk benchmark of

    /bin/time dd if=disk-block-device of=/dev/null bs=4k count=2000

and posted the results for several systems.  Would someone with 3.2 be
willing to run this test and post the results?  I am especially
interested in systems that are running SCSI controllers.  Thanks for
your time.
