OS/2 v. 2.0 is *supposedly* the 386- specific version, and evidently plans have it that it will provide multiplt DOS boxes, ability to run MS-WINDOWS apps 
unaltered, and even maybe a complete 32 bit API.

This is from hypothesizing in the last few issues of PC Magazine.
