Some drivers for the 640 by 480 mode in 256 colors for Windows 286 are on the way in the mail so I will report back when they get here. As far as the grey scale business is concerned, although one can have 256 palette entries, each RGB entry is only 6 bits long so I guess this means we really only have a 64 bit grey scale available. Is this simplistic assumption accurate ? Regards ... David
