I would like to be able to raise a window without the user interaction. How can I do that? I am using twm. All my attempts trying to raise a window through Xlib calls have failed. Seems that twm denied all the requests. But I saw applications running under twm raising and lowering windows without any problem. I am aware that twm will reparent my window (one or more levels down). The Xlib functions I have tried are: XRaiseWindow XConfigureWindow XRestackWindows Thanks in advance for your help! ================================================================= Yongdeng Chen ychen%metasoft@bbn.com Meta Software Corporation ...bbn!metasoft!ychen 150 Cambridge Park Drive Cambridge, MA 02140 (617) 576-6920
