Lines: 27 Well, I have given up on Sun Microsystems and am turning to the net for help. I am trying to port X11R3 to a Sun 386 and am having little luck. We have 3 Sun386's. The 386 with a 19 inch color monitor works just fine. I compiled X,installed it and X works great. The other 2 386's have 15 inch monochrome screens. I have heard about one patch to the server code that affects the size of the frame buffer in sunBW2.c. The patch was used but the monochrome 386's still won't work. I received the following error message: xinit: Connection refused (errno 61): unable to connect to X server Does anyone have any ideas.? Sun hasn't been able to help and said that Xview won't be available for at least 6 months on the 386 machines. Thanks in advance for any help. One more point if it makes a difference. All three 386s are booting off a 4/110. And all 3 386s use the same X binaries. Patrick L. Wigen Voice: (408) 756-9748 Lockheed Missiles & Space Co.
