Message-ID: Date: 9 Sep 89 19:36:20 GMT Sender: news@phoenix.Princeton.EDU Distribution: gnu Organization: Cognitive Science Lab. Princeton University. Lines: 17 Has someone out there changed/fixed shell.el or cmushell.el et al that it'll track cd more correctly in the shell buffers ? I mean, it currently doesn't handle symlinks "correctly" and will be lost if you do 'cd abc*'. Also, has anyone wrote anything that extends ftp.el so that one can interactively browse around in ftp ? Currently, I'll have to do it a shell buffer if I want to browse things. -- Eric Ho Cognitive Science Lab., Princeton University voice = 609-258-2987 email = eho@confidence.princeton.edu 609-258-2819 (messages) eho@bogey.princeton.edu regards. -eric-
