I'm still around, relearning my own code. Hopefully I'll recover my 2.1-in-progress work; it's currently inaccessible. The main improvement, I recall, was buffering of long articles. In the meantime, I'll see if I can integrate mail with Gnews. My time is tight for now--I don't think we'll see 2.1 until December.
