i gave you a bug report his morning that was wrong.  i kept writing 0f which
isn't according to the ANSI standard.  i should be writing 0.0f which gcc
accepts without any problem (my ms-dos compiler shouldn't be accepting
0f).  sorry for the confusion, and thanks for a wonderful compiler!
