When a DAT records something marked "I'm copyrighted" it produces a copy marked "I'm a copy of something copy- righted." DATs will refuse to copy something marked "I'm a copy of something copyrighted." Note that a DAT recording of the analog output of a CD or DAT will not carry the copyright marking. Also, pro equipment will not pay attention to these markings. Sorry for discussing this stuff in an inappropriate newsgroup. (Not sorry enough, eh? At least it has the word "discuss" in its name.)
