ARAB GROUP OF UN MEMBER COUNTRIES CALLS URGENT MEETING
ON "DEPORTATION OF PALESTINIAN CIVILIANS FROM OCCUPIED PALESTINIAN TERRITORY"

     The Arab Group of United Nations member-countries this evening called for
an urgent meeting of the Security Council on "the situation in the occupied
Palestinian territory".  In a letter to the Council President, on behalf of
the Group, Nassir Abdelaziz Al-Nasser of Qatar said the Council should
consider, in particular, "the deportation of Palestinian civilians from the
occupied Palestinian territory".
