To any and everyone who can give concise information on this matter: I am having an inordinate amount of hassle posting news. If I could find/implement the right editor for my system, then I could get past most fo it For the essentials to the problem: The way I get into my local UNIX is to dail into it. for a teriminal I use Howver, in news posting, it works better if I specify it as simply 'adm3'. from this, it is apparent to me that vi (the only editor that I am familiar with) simply will not do. What I need is an editor that will work as well as posting to my local dailup BBS. I know that there are more than one availible for this UNIX system and I have mailed system support in an effort to get learn access. My basic question to any of you that can answer this it: What editor that is availible on a unix system is the best to use with the adm3...or adm3a? And how can I implement it so that it will always come up for me when I post...at least how can I specify it to the prompt? Thanks in advance...I will name my firstborn after you, maybe. kleinj
