Larry, Make sure that the defs.h file is correct. Mine has an option for "NONEWGROUPS" not "NEWGROUPS". Remember that you must make the change in the localize.sh file and not just change the defs.h file or your changes will be overwritten by the makefile running localize.sh against defs.dist to create a new defs.h file.
