It claims to photograph a living object's "aura". I think the Russians did the most with it. It was neat in that, if you cut off a part of a leaf, the entire leaf would still show up in the photograph. I can't give you any real specifics because I threw those books out long ago. I hope this gives you an idea of what it is.
