Lines: 17 Hi, This is just an enquiry regarding back propagation. From what I have read back prop algorithm uses the steepest gradient tecchnique for reducing an error function. I was wondering if any one has used any other optimisation algorithm like conjugate directions, conjugate gradient methods. If so could you please send me the relevant information. regards chandra e-mail kambhampati@uk.ac.newcastle p-mail Dr. C.
