The following is the pinout for an RS232 (25 pin) jack: 2 - Transmitted data 3 - Received data 7 - Signal ground 20 - Data Terminal Ready (DTR) - This is on except when the terminal is off, off-line, resetting, or when is pressed. These are the pins you need to hook up (ie. 2 to 2, 3 to 3, etc.) Pin 1 is the chassis ground, but this shouldn't be necessary. Good luck... Ernie
