I have already made arrangements to be an authorized dealer for Supra. Anybody who designs a modem without DTR line support should be shot. I don't have their number, but their address is: Anchor Automation, Inc. 20675 Bahama St. Chatsworth, CA 91311 I've looked through the manual of their 2400E and one of our suppliers for Anchor and there's no phone number. Makes you wonder doesn't it? There should be a number for RMA's. My Supra manual has two numbers. One for orders, another for tech support on the backcover of the manual. Anyway, give them hell and also mention that a tech support consultant hates their modems. :) Also, they supposedly have a warehouse/office in LA. I remember a friend returning one of their 1200's for replacement. But I find it odd that their phone number is no where to be found in the owner's manual, warranty card, or in an authorized Anchor Automation distributor catalog. Also, their service policy on the warranty card for the 2400E is to ship the modem to the above address with proof of date of purchase and $5.00 to cover shipping and handling. /*--------------------------------------------------------------------------* * Flames: /dev/null (on my Minix partition) *--------------------------------------------------------------------------* * ARPA : crash!pnet01!jca@nosc.mil * INET : jca@pnet01.cts.com * UUCP : {nosc ucsd hplabs!hd-sdd}!crash!pnet01!jca *--------------------------------------------------------------------------* * Note : My opinions are that...mine.
