Message-ID: <45666@bbn.COM> Date: 15 Sep 89 18:45:00 GMT Sender: news@bbn.COM Organization: BBN news/mail gateway Lines: 13 I've just gotten a copy of uEMACS 3.10 and I've compiled it on my SUN 3/60 running SUN OS/4.0.3. It compiles fine and comes right up. The only problem is that I can't get it to recognize the ESC key as META. The definitions in tcap.c define ESC as 0x1B and ESC should be recognized as META - but nothing happens when you hit ESC. Actually, as an example, in a search string which needs to be terminated with META, the string does not terminate and hitting control G to abort does nothing for a few repeat hits of control G. Has anyone seen this behavior before? Howard Weiss hsw at tycho.ncsc.mil -------
