Message-ID: <958@dialogic.UUCP> Date: 18 Sep 89 19:20:15 GMT Followup-To: comp.emacs Organization: Dialogic Corp., Parsippany, NJ Lines: 18 I am having a problem in GNU Emacs with display time. It is installed on an ISC 386/ix system, and the version info is: GNU Emacs 18.54.4 of Wed Aug 30 1989 on dialogic (usg-unix-v) The time display starts out fine, but after a period of time, it will disappear (the loadst process also goes away). If I type M-x display-time, it will come back again, but this can get rather annoying. Has anyone else had this problem? If so, did you fix it, or just give up on display-time? I have tried to track it down, but I have left loadst running for over an hour in it's own shell without it failing. At this point I am ready to try just about anything... -- - Dan Rich | | Dialogic Corporation drich@dialogic.UUCP | - Time is an illusion. | 129 Littleton Rd or | Lunchtime, doubly so. - | Parsippany, NJ 07054 uunet!dialogic!drich | - Douglas Adams | (201)334-8450 x177
